So, what the hell happened yesterday?

well, gooble tookover newgrounds for the day as part of NG april fools this year. The first one since 2023. The people were pretty much waiting for something to happen, so I took the liberty of cooking up something at the start of this year and reaching out to Tom about it! I’m so grateful he allowed this to happen :)

but in reality, it was a ploy to get @BrandyBuizel to write about gooble on his newgrounds wiki site. So devilish of me mwehehehe

Regardless, I am very thankful for being able to do something like this and it made me very happy seeing everyone come to love and hate gooble yesterday 🥹 kinda touchy if I say so myself. Thanks to everyone who participated in this takeover. Not just the people that helped bring this to life, but others that I saw with gooble pfps. I’d say this will be my mark on the site even if it was one day. I’ll see it as a crowning achievement of mine… but that’s not the only thing that happened.

Damn… almost 5 years on this website and reached that milestone. I dunno, the milestone got muffled by the gooble takeover lol I have nothing to say about it, but thank you to everyone who loved gooble and like my stuff. I feel very proud, but I haven’t shown a lot of proof that I have so far this year.

I have a BIG animation I have cooking up since October and I’m almost done with it! I hope I could get it done asap.

there’s also the REAL sketch collab. The real sketch collab 2026 will be announced soon. Soon.. soon.. so stay tuned! I’ve got some big plans for that as well! 🐛

Also if you’re wondering of any consequences I’ve received from doing this takeover, I stabbed myself in the hand while preparing some fried chicken, so take of that what you will, but I still enjoyed my chicken sandwiches!!!!!!

But anyways, it’s time for gooble to ascend to the heavens and live peacefully as a god now as he won’t terrorize anyone anymore… for now. Say goodbye gooble. Im glad everyone got together as a community to enjoy my retarded takeover of the site. It makes me feel strangely happy. Hopefully, one day, someone else could pull an april fools prank again next year
