So did I set out what I wanted to do in this post? I dunno, let’s see what I have done this year.

Animation

This year i’ve done lots more animation this year and now starting to make cartoons that I want to do. I really wanted to show off original stuff for animation, and doing so, i’ve made a little series for myself staring my character, Gameen

But that’s not all. I’ve also created some non Gameen cartoons including the following

I’ve also made a halloween cartoon this year.. though I kinda rushed it, so not my greatest, but it’s a halloween short

Out of all of the cartoons that I’m proud of and that I enjoyed making a lot, it would be the following

It’s a shame that Using the Pizza didn’t do as well, but that’s what happens when you promote stuff by using your frontpage newspost. I’ll make sure not to promote my original stuff anymore on newgrounds :<

So what’ll happen in the future in terms of my animations?

well i’ll continue to pump out some animations as well as work on something that’ll be big and cool. It might take months or years, but it’ll be worth it and definitely not ambitious.

I’m also gonna start dumping all of my animations onto youtube. Maybe early January.

That’s all for animation. It was the more bigger one as it was a big step up on my artistic journey.

In total i’ve uploaded 9 cartoons, and 4 of them have gotten daily featured!!!!! Thank you newgrounds for liking my animations and will be making more animations just for y'all and for me :3

Art

Art was the same old same old. However I have started to get more into dynamic posing as well as drawing a lot more of Gameen. My reasoning for that is because I haven’t been able to draw her as much back in 2022. As well as drawing more of my characters that I’ve made. I wanna draw less fanart because I like drawing original stuff as well. I might doodle some other characters and might draw fanart for stuff I really like though. It’s just that to me, I want more original work of mine to be more known rather than constantly drawing fanart. Well I guess draw what you like.

I haven’t made much drawings this month, but that’s fine. More to come next year!!! I dunno what ima focus on for art next year. I guess time will tell.

I haven’t participated in much collabs this year cuz I was focusing more on myself and really that’s fine cuz I don’t need to be in every single collab ever :)

with that being said, early 2024, Ima host my collab and in dear honor of my friend @Taka , I’m gonna make another cute cat collab!! This time it’ll be a combination of Animation and Art showcase. I’ll sort it out later, and also i’m not doing applications yet, so hold on to your seats!! I was suppose to do it this year, but some stuff came up that didn’t allow me to do so this year.

The Future

Other than what I’ve said above, I’m gonna maybe come to some meetups as I went to the toomanygames meet up this year. I wish I got to mee everyone there, but I’m happy I went :)

This year was really like THE year for me, I dunno how ima top this next year, but I’ll wait and see.
