so.. what happened with me this year? Let’s just get it over with 

ANIMATION

I definitely improved within this year. Still sticking with doing animations with original characters. I’ve started up a new little series called Curious Creature. Originally just a quick little halloween thing from last year, now getting its 3rd installment very soon, I can’t wait for y’all to see what wacky stuff happens for the future of Curious Creature! Check out the playlist so far with episodes 1 and 2. 

I didn’t do as much Using the ______ episodes as I hoped. I kinda just stopped it at the anniversary which is sad to think about. I had so many episodes planned, many in production and I even wanted to do a new episode before the end of the year just to make up for the lack of them, but alas, I kept doing other things. Unfortunate

I do also wanna give a dedicated section here to the Tankmas Animation Jam! Very fun to host something on ng this year, and there’s more to be had next year which I'm very excited to show to y’all! Again, thanks to the participants for partaking in this jam! Here’s the playlist once again showcasing all of the entries + winners!

In total, I’ve made 10 cartoons, which is actually 9 cartoons cuz one of them got deleted off the site, but it’s the same as last year, which bugs me a bit cuz I wanted to do more, but that’s okay. Lots of them did get featured though via frontpage and dailies, in which I do appreciate very much. Thank you all for liking my stuff! :)

ART

Art I've actually focused on a bit this year as well. I’ve been experimenting with some forms of art here and there and this year I’ve switched up how I do backgrounds and sketching entirely, which I do like and will continue to draw and experiment even further. I dunno, not much to say for this section lol I’ve been kinda content with my art for now.

I made it my goal to draw a lot more this year, and I'm glad I have. Will continue to draw for more years to come.

COLLABS

Here are some collabs I joined, blah blah blah 

Plus the pokemon gijinka collab which I enjoyed my time with. But yeah Not many collabs I did wanna join. There were just so many that it honestly just made it feel less special to be in one. 

As for the brainrot collab, yeah sorry I couldn’t get it done this year. Lots of more things I had to deal with, but i’m very sorry it’s not getting done sooner. Just how I want the collab to be like shifted 180. Originally, I wanted it to be interactive, but now it’s going to be in video format unfortunately. It’s just the only thing I could do now. :<

Speaking of collabs, I got a hold of one that’ll surely surprise y’all next year, so be on the lookout for that one next year. You won’t believe it. 

I’d like to give a dedicated segment to Tankmas this year. It was honestly really fun and really cool to see it all together. I enjoyed every single day of it and I wanna thank Shmoods and Squidly as well as the rest of the team for their incredible hard work to make this Tankmas feel special. It was fun to be a participant and a contributor for this year and I hope you guys enjoyed my little part with the marshmallow animation. There’ll be a firework show on the 1st of January at 6pm EST to close off the advent this year. Out of all the Tankmases I was there for, this one is truly the best Tankmas ever! :)

EVENTS

I went to exactly 2 meetups this year! I went to tmg this year and wildwood. They were really fun and I got to meet so many cool people! I even made some wood tags and i’m glad people still like till now. They were fun to make and one of the last few things I made in High School, speaking of, this year, I graduated from high school!! 

Many things happened to me this year that’ve been good and bad and just soooo much going on, just done with this year honestly. I didn’t really have a good start to the year due to some personal stuff happening at the start, cutting off ties with one of my former friends for just hurting me, then joining one thing that was now an utter waste of time on my end. I was close to being done with that as well and just *boom* kicked off out of the blue. At least it turned out to be very cool, though I'm sad I didn’t get to show off my work for that.. This year really was the worst for my mental health and I just have some people I wish I could just say sorry to for being how I was this year. My head wasn’t in the right headspace and originally, I thought I was gonna leave this year on a bitter note, but after a few talks, I feel better. While this year was terrible for lots of people, there’s always next year. Next year, I feel like I'll be much happier with what I’ll be doing and as long as I improve my own well being and surround myself with people that truly care for me, I think I’ll do just as fine as previous years. I felt a little off this year. But, now I'm looking forward instead of back. 

If you noticed, I changed my pfp. Originally, I never wanted to ever change it cuz I wanted to show how far I’ve really come from when I joined the site to now with one of my first publically online creations i’ve made, to now… but now I don’t wanna think about the past any longer and wanted to start new and fresh for this next part of my life, so I changed it to my sona I made a few months ago. I do wanna thank you all for being here with me and sorry for being me at times.. and being a bad friend. As the clock reaches 0 soon, I’ll enjoy a moment of peace for a good bit, before starting all over again and reaching to be a better person. It’ll be slow, but I’m hopeful that 2025 will truly be my year.

 I don’t really give special thanks a lot in these newspost cuz of my reasons, but just know if you were someone close to me and that I consider a friend, you have my special thanks and thank you for making my year less sucky :]
